Clinsightful Aesthetics is a community for dermatology and aesthetics professionals and the research panel behind it. Members who choose to take part in research are invited to studies that fit their specialty and practice. Each completed study pays points, and points are redeemed as gift cards through Tremendous. One point is one US dollar.
From a study to a gift card

A study invitation
Invitations that fit the member’s profile appear on their Research Invites page and by email. Each one says what it pays in points and roughly how long it takes. Taking part is always the member’s choice. - 2
Points, as soon as the study is completed
Completing a study credits its points to the member’s balance at once. The thank-you page says so, a short email confirms it, and the Rewards page lists every entry. - 3
Redeem on the Rewards page
The member enters a whole number of points (5 or more) and confirms. Clinsightful Aesthetics takes those points from the balance and places a Tremendous order for the same number of US dollars, delivered to the member’s confirmed email address. See the Rewards page with sample data. - 4
Choose the gift card
Tremendous emails the member a link where they choose their gift card from Tremendous’s selection of retailers. The gift card then follows Tremendous’s and the retailer’s terms.
Safeguards
- Only members whose email address is confirmed can redeem; the gift card goes to that address and nowhere else.
- The points are taken from the balance before the order is placed. If an order fails, they return to the balance at once.
- One redemption at a time, and at most five attempts an hour.
- Every order is recorded with its Tremendous order number, and each member sees their own history.
- Points can be withheld or reversed for duplicate accounts, false profile information or answers given in bad faith, always after a person at Clinsightful Aesthetics reviews the case.
- The survey itself sees only an anonymous token, never the member’s name; points are kept by Clinsightful Aesthetics.
When to redeem
- Points do not expire while the account is open.
- Points earned in a calendar year are to be redeemed by January 5 of the following year.
- A balance is to be redeemed once it reaches 600 points (600 US dollars).
- Points not redeemed in time are converted for the member into an Amazon gift card of the same value, sent to their confirmed email address.
- The Rewards page shows each member which of their points are due, and by when.
