Terms of Use

Last updated 8 October 2026. Applies to Clinsightful Aesthetics members and to Clincuity sponsors.

Clinsightful Aesthetics is a professional community for dermatology and aesthetics professionals: curated articles, member posts and clinical discussion, a professional network with private messaging, invitations to paid research, and clearly labeled sponsored content. Clincuity is the part of the same service through which aesthetics companies (“sponsors”) reach members with reviewed, labeled campaigns. Both are operated by Actionable Research Inc., doing business as Clinsightful (“Clinsightful”, “we”, “us”). These terms are the agreement between you and Actionable Research Inc. for using either. Our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your information and is part of these terms.

By creating an account, requesting sponsor access, or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Who may join

  • Membership is for dermatology and aesthetics professionals: dermatologists, plastic and facial plastic surgeons, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and nurses who work in dermatology or aesthetics, students of these professions, and people who work in dermatology, aesthetic or medical spa practice. You must be at least 18.
  • You must give accurate information about yourself, including your name, professional role and, if you have one, your NPI. We may ask you to confirm your email address and may suspend an account whose details are false.
  • One account per person. Do not share your password or let anyone else use your account. Tell us at once through the contact form if you think your account has been used without your permission.

2. Articles and other content we publish

  • Articles in the library are either written for Clinsightful Aesthetics (some with the help of AI drafting tools, every one read and approved by a person before it appears) or summaries of news from other publishers with a link to the source. They are professional information, not clinical advice for any particular patient, and they do not create a clinician–patient relationship. Use your own professional judgment.
  • Sponsored content is always labeled “Sponsored by” with the sponsor’s name. We review every campaign before it appears and we do not accept payment to alter editorial articles.
  • We may correct, update or remove content at any time.

3. What you post

  • You keep ownership of the posts, comments, clinical content and messages you write. You give us permission to store, display and share them within the service as the feature you used provides (for example, a post is shown in the feed; a message is shown to the people in that conversation).
  • Patient information. Do not post anything that could identify a patient (names, faces, dates, unusual details, images with identifying features) unless you have the patient’s documented consent and the law where you practice allows it. Clinical content you submit through the guided templates is reviewed by a person for exactly this before it is published; free-form posts are your responsibility.
  • Be accurate and professional. Do not post content that is false or misleading, that promotes a product without saying so, that infringes someone else’s rights, or that harasses, threatens or demeans anyone.
  • Other members can report a post, a comment or a member. We review reports and may hide content, remove it, or suspend an account. We do not tell the person reported who reported them.

4. How members treat each other

  • Connection requests and private messages are for professional contact. Messaging works only between members who have accepted each other’s connection.
  • You may block another member at any time. A block ends any connection between you, hides your posts from each other, and stops either of you messaging or sending requests to the other.
  • No spam, no bulk messaging, no scraping or copying of member information, and no attempt to get around the service’s limits or security.

5. Research invitations

Members may be invited to paid surveys, interviews and advisory boards. Taking part is always your choice. Surveys themselves run on a separate research panel platform; when you take part there, that platform’s terms and any compensation terms shown with the invitation apply. See the Privacy Policy for what we share with the panel.

Points earned for research, and their redemption as gift cards, follow the Rewards Program Terms.

6. Sponsors (Clincuity)

  • A sponsor account is for a company, and is created only when we approve the request. We may decline a request or close an account at our discretion.
  • Every campaign is submitted for review and reaches members only after a person at Clinsightful Aesthetics approves it. It appears with the sponsor’s name and any disclosure we require. We may pause or end a campaign at any time.
  • Sponsors see how a campaign performed in aggregate. Sponsors never receive members’ names, contact details or individual activity, and must not try to identify members from anything the service shows.
  • Campaign content must be accurate, lawful, and appropriate for a professional audience. The sponsor is responsible for it.
  • Clincuity currently takes no payment through the service. Any commercial terms are agreed separately in writing.

7. Closing accounts

You can stop using the service at any time. To have your account and personal information deleted, ask us through the contact form; the Privacy Policy explains what is kept and why. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used for a purpose the service is not for, or has been inactive for a long time, and we will tell you why where we reasonably can.

8. The service itself

  • We provide the service as it is. We work to keep it available and accurate, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content is complete or current.
  • To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from reliance on content, from other members’ conduct, or from research or sponsored activities run by third parties.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
  • The service, its design, and the content we write are ours or our licensors’. You may read and share links freely; you may not copy the service or its content for another product.

9. Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them or from the service are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any court proceeding will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and you and we each consent to their jurisdiction. Where the law of the place you live gives you protections that cannot be taken away by agreement, those protections still apply.

10. Changes

When we change these terms we will update the date at the top. For a material change we will also tell members in the service or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

11. Contact

Questions about these terms, reports of misuse, and requests about your account go through the contact form.
